Daily Livestock Water Demand

Approximate daily water consumption (USDA / Penn State Extension averages):

• Dairy cow (lactating): 30–50 gallons
• Beef cow: 10–20 gallons
• Horse: 8–12 gallons
• Sheep / goat: 1–4 gallons
• Layer hen: 0.05–0.10 gallons
• Broiler: 0.04–0.08 gallons
• Hog (finisher): 4–6 gallons

A 50-cow dairy with 100 head total needs roughly 3,000+ gallons per day. A 20-horse stable needs around 200 gallons per day. Plan storage for 2–3 days minimum during a known outage.

What We Are and Aren't

Our tankers are 3A Food Grade stainless steel — the same construction standard used in milk-tank trailers — and we source from chlorinated municipal supplies under NJDEP Hauler License #0704582. We are licensed for potable bulk hauling.

We do not haul fertilizer water, gray water, or any non-potable substance, and we do not fill irrigation ponds (call us anyway — we can usually point you to the right hauler).
